Change 4 the Kenai (C4K) is dedicated to understanding the local increasing prevalence of injection drug use and the dire consequences. We work to implement harm reduction programs and to break the stigma of addiction within the community through education.

Town Hall Meetings

Town hall meetings include panelists and guest speakers as well as community round table discussions. Check out our resources page for an archive of past town hall meetings or contact us for upcoming Town Hall meetings.

Drug Take Back Events

C4K partners with local agencies to provide prescription drug take back events in spring and fall. Together we collect unused or expired medicines - preventing misuse and keeping loved ones safe. Check out our Facebook page or contact us for upcoming Drug Take Back events.

Walk/Run Events

C4K holds a variety of walk/run events to celebrate recovery and raise awareness of addiction. Check out our Facebook page or contact us for upcoming Walk/Run events.

COPE Community Schools Classes

Education for the community. Topics include the science of addiction, Prescription drug misuse, Connecting with loved ones, Emotional coping skills, and Naloxone use. Check out COPE Classes online or contact us for more information.
